What is Enhanced Active Park Assist?

Enhanced Active Park Assist works with several vehicle features to help make parking stress-free. It helps steer the vehicle, in Reverse, into a perpendicular parking space or steer the vehicle into or out of a parallel parking space.

Reverse Perpendicular Parking

• Assists the driver in backing into a suitable, non-angled parking space
• When a parking space is found, the driver shifts, accelerates and brakes while the system steers the vehicle
  

Parallel Parking

• Assists the driver with parallel parking
• Sensors measure the distance to the curb and other parked cars
• When a suitable spot is identified, the system will signal the driver to stop and accept the system's assistance
• The driver shifts, accelerates and brakes while the system steers the vehicle
  

Park Out Assist

• Aids the driver in exiting a difficult parallel parking spot
• The driver presses the button, and the system provides instructions on shifting as well as moving the vehicle forward and back
• The driver accelerates and/or brakes while the system steers the vehicle
  

Forward and Side Sensing Systems

• Can warn the driver of objects in front of and at the sides of the vehicle

To activate the system, drivers press the button located on the center console
