Temperature swings affect PSI. For every 10° drop in outside temperature, your tire pressure can fall by 1-2 pounds. What felt fine in August may be dangerously low by October.
Low pressure = risk. Underinflated tires reduce fuel efficiency, wear unevenly, and increase the chance of blowouts or poor traction, especially on wet fall roads.
