Why Tire Pressure Matters as Temperatures Drop
As summer turns to fall, one of the simplest, yet most important steps you can take for your vehicle is checking tire pressure.
Here's Why: Temperature swings affect PSI. For every 10° drop in outside temperature, your tire pressure can fall by 1-2 pounds. What felt fine in August may be dangerously low by October. Low pressure = risk.
Underinflated tires reduce fuel efficiency, wear unevenly, and increase the chance of blowouts or poor traction, especially on wet fall roads. Right pressure = safety & savings. Properly inflated tires improve handling, braking distance, and extend the life of your tires.
